Membership is open to local history societies/groups and related organisations/institutions within the geographical area of Northumbria.

We welcome warmly into membership individuals who have interest in the historic county of Northmberland, wherever they may live in the world. Please see below who you may write to in order to JOIN US!

Our financial year begins on 1st April when subscriptions are due for renewal. New members are welcome to join at any time during the year!

a copy of the ANLHSs 'Information for Members' folder

a copy of the ANLHS Constitution

a current list of Officers and Committee members

a copy of our 'Speakers List' - please note the Speakers List is only available to paid-up local history societies and groups.

a 'dedicated' page on the Association's website to promote their sociey and their programme, or for their own website to be linked

one copy of the current edition of our journal 'Tyne & Tweed',as part of their subscription, with the opportunity to purchase further copies to 'sell on' to their members

receive the Association's twice-yearly mail-outs (February & September)

send a representative to ANLHS Council meetings and to the AGM

information on and attendance at events organised by the Association

participation in surveys and research organised by the Association

any new Packs, Information Sheets and Guidelines produced by the Association
