WESTERHOPE Local History Society

The society was founded in 1984.

Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month from September - May, at 7pm in Westerhope Methodist Church.

We have collections on the history of the area and of Westerhope village in particular, including maps and photographs. Access to the collections is open to our local library and schools.

Publications include two titles for the Newcastle City Libraries' 'Bygone...' series - '...Westerhope' and '... North Walbottle & Blucher'.
