Felton
and Swarland LHS
The
society was established in 1972.
Meetings
are held in Felton Village Hall on the 3rd Monday of the
month, from September - May (excluding December).
The
society has produced several publications:
- 'Index of Census Returns for the Felton District of
Northumberland, 1841-1891' (3 vols.); 'Index to Births,
Deaths and Marriages from the Morpeth Herald (5 vols
-ongoing; 'Record of the Monumental Inscriptions of the
Felton District of Northumberland' 1991.
